The B.C. government has made a commitment to true and lasting reconciliation through passing of the Declaration of Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA) and the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). Reconciliation is broad and touches all aspect of life, society and industry. UNDRIP is a foundational human rights tool to build a better province. Each of us have a powerful ability to encourage, role model and lead change. A common understanding needs to be fostered for permanent progress to be made.
